I stay in touch with the outer world by using e-mail (currently I am using 2 accounts - one on www.seznam.cz and one on Google). I wasn't a Facebook fan until I decided to go on Erasmus. From that time on I am using Facebook regularly - and that not only for fun but also for fast communication with my peers. It is also easier to follow the upcoming events on FB. In the past years I was also using ICQ and now I am using Skype a lot. Until now I was neither writing a blog, nor tweets. I also don't run any webpages. I usually don't take part in webdiscussion, although I sometimes read various people's comments on the web. I have seen a couple of webinars provided by Macmillan websites but I didn't take an active part in them. When I'll have more time, I am thinking of trying to take some courses at www.coursera.org. For keeping and sharing photos and files I use Dropbox.
The Internet is a great tool for communication and I cannot imagine my life without "being online". However, I guess that I use just a tiny bit of its potential and it might be interesting to get to know some more of it.
